We strive for food chain transparency, environmental stewardship, and food accessibility as we nourish our Sacramento community with whole, unadulterated foods.

Greg

With the upheaval of the world around us in 2020, Greg left a decades long career in cheese, beer, & wine to find solace in the cottage baking community.

Working with his hands to feed his community, he gained traction and remembered what it meant to be a maker and why he started working with food in the first place.

After investing in a couple of ovens and a few courses at the San Francisco Baking Institute, Manzanita Bakehouse was born.
